A prank is a small file, that when run, something will temporarily happen to the computer. A couple examples are, the mouse buttons switching, or the CD-tray opening. There's really tons of possibilites for pranks. Pranks DO NOT damage a computer in anyway. Every prank on this site is temporary, and is meant to be a joke.

No. Pranks DO NOT damage a computer in anyway. Every prank on this site is temporary and completely harmless. Most viruses do damage to the physical machine or installed software. The pranks on our site are not damaging in any way. They are just meant to trick someone.

3. How do I use pranks?

The first step to use any prank is to download it first. Once you have the prank downloaded all you have to do is get it on to the "victim's" computer. You can do this by sending it through e-mail, instant messenger, anything! After the prank is on the computer, the prank needs to be ran. You run pranks like any other application (ex, double-clicking.) That's all! So here's the steps again:

3. Run the prank.

4. How do I stop the pranks?

Stopping a prank is simple. Just wait for a few minutes until it stops. WindowsPranks.com makes every single prank on the site, which allows us to choose when the prank stops. They will all stop after a few minutes. If you don't want to wait for the prank to stop, than you can simply restart your computer.

5. Can I submit a prank or upload it to the site?

We do not currently accept uploads to WindowsPranks.com. However, you can suggest it on our forum (Here), and we may add it to the site.
